in the Carolina Colliseum on the corner of Blossom and

X LAB IMAGING MEETING DETAILS
Apple
Computer and the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism
are sponsoring a free seminar on the Imaging and Cloning of Mac
OS X Systems. The seminar will be held on:
MEETING
will be Friday, September 9 from 9:00 AM to noon
in
the CEO Conference Room at the Journalism School in the old Coliseum
building, which on the corner of Blossom and Assembly Streets
in Columbia, SC.
This
lecture and demonstration seminar will consist of the following
topics:

Deploying NetInstall to install Tiger via the NetBoot technology
from a Mac OS X Tiger Server,

Using Mike Bombich's NBAS to NetBoot Across Subnets to deploy
NetInstall,
-
Deploying Apple Software Restore Multicasting with Apple Remote
Desktop and NetBoot to image and clone Mac Systems,
-
Using Mike Bombich's NetRestore 3.0 with ASR Multicasting to image
and clone Mac Systems

Imaging and cloning Mac systems with Tiger Install CD's and a
client Tiger Macintosh. Seating is limited; so register early.

Visitor parking meters are available along Blossom Street as well
in the parking lot across the street from Coliseum between the
Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center and the Greek Village.
The cost is $1.00 per hour and must be paid in coins. Parking
is also available in the Bull Street Parking Lot at the corner
